He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den; or, he lurks in the covert as a lion in his lair (Kay)—a very striking image! He lieth in wait (or, lurks) to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net; rather, by drawing him into his net.
