Kings of armies did flee apace; literally, did flee—did flee; i.e. fled repeatedly before Israel (see ; , ; , ; 3:10, 3:29; 4:14-16; 7:19-25; 8:11, 8:12; 11:29-33; 15:14-16; , ; ; , ; , ; ; ; , , , , ; , etc.

). And she that tarried at home divided the spoil. The wives of the conquerors shared in the spoil when it was brought home ( 5:28-30).
