“Yes, at this my heart trembles,

Hear, oh, hear the noise of his voice,

He sends it out under the whole sky,

After it a voice roars.

God thunders marvelously with his voice.

For he says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth,’

He seals up the hand of every man,

Then the animals take cover,

Out of its room comes the storm,

By the breath of God, ice is given,

Yes, he loads the thick cloud with moisture.

It is turned around by his guidance,

whether it is for correction, or for his land,

“Listen to this, Job.

Do you know how God controls them,

Do you know the workings of the clouds,

You whose clothing is warm

Can you, with him, spread out the sky,

Teach us what we will tell him,

Will it be told him that I would speak?

Now men don’t see the light which is bright in the skies,

Out of the north comes golden splendor.

We can’t reach the Almighty.

Therefore men revere him.
