The Pulpit Commentary on Ephesians 5:22

Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, as to the Lord. Though Christianity emancipates and elevates woman, it does not release her from the duty of subjection. The relation to the husband is intensified in order to enforce the duty: "your own husbands," τοῖς ἰδιοῖς ἀνδράσι: as we say, "she deserted her own child."

The "as to" denotes a parallel duty: as it is your duty to be subject to Christ, so also to your husbands (see next verse).
