Provoke him not. On the disobedience of the Israelites to this precept, see Numbers 14:11; Psalms 78:17, Psalms 78:40, Psalms 78:56, etc. My name is in him. God's honour he will not give to another. He does not set His Name in a man.

The angel, in whom was God's Blame, must have been co-equal with God—one of the Persons of the Blessed Trinity.
